The Giddings family founded Literie Giddings in 1888.

At the time, they specialized in manufacturing rattan furniture. Nearly 60 years later,
they switched from manufacturing rattan furniture
to manufacturing mattresses.

with Therapedic

Almost 100 years after its founding, the company was sold to the international Therapedic franchise, which successfully continued the company’s operations and elevated it to the prestigious status of Quebec’s largest manufacturer of private label mattresses.

2016
La Fabrique de Matelas

En 2015, l’entreprise est de nouveau vendue et devient officiellement en 2016 La Fabrique de Matelas, puis Matelas Expert.
